Aqua Irrigation Force is currently hiring a full-time daytime shift supervisor. The role requires a minimum of two years of management experience, a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, exceptional communication skills, strong leadership qualities, and proficiency in time management, computers, phones, and basic office tasks. Additionally, candidates must complete assessment tests during the hiring process. Responsibilities for this position include supervising staff during shifts, reporting to senior management, resolving issues, delegating tasks, ensuring safety and smooth operations, managing inventory, evaluating employee performance, and providing necessary training.

Employee Salary

In Ohio, the term “wage” is defined as the compensation owed to employees for their work, excluding permitted deductions and allowances as per Section 4111.01 of the Ohio Revised Code. Employers are required to comply with minimum wage laws and ensure employees receive overtime pay at 1.5 times their regular rate for hours exceeding 40 per week, as mandated by the Fair Labor Standards Act (“Section 4111.01 – Ohio Revised Code | Ohio Laws,” n.d.).

For 2023, Ohio’s minimum wage is $10.10 per hour for non-tipped employees and $5.05 per hour for tipped employees. These rates are set to increase to $10.45 and $5.25, respectively, on January 1, 2024. Businesses with annual gross receipts above a specific threshold must adhere to these regulations (“Ohio,” 2023).
