Interview Pitch

Human adaptability is a defining characteristic that sets us apart from other species and even the most sophisticated machines. From the invention of primitive tools to the groundbreaking Apollo space program, our ability to adapt has driven societal progress. In this spirit, I aim to conduct interviews to explore the mastery of change as outlined in chapter four of Cashman’s Leadership From the Inside Out. The interviews involve a Vice President of Information Technology and a Chief Growth Officer, both from mid-sized private companies in the defense industry. These leaders have agreed to participate under conditions of anonymity, with 30-minute sessions scheduled for March 11th.

To facilitate these discussions, I have developed a set of targeted questions designed to uncover insights into how leaders navigate change, balance stability and adaptability, and foster innovation within their teams. These interviews will help elucidate the strategies employed by successful leaders in managing transformation within dynamic organizational contexts.
