Submitting Assessments

How do I submit the 1st task (FDM1)?

To submit the FDM1 task, you need to provide two items through the submission tab:

1. CPE Record: Submit this via the submission tab only. Do not upload the completed CPE Record into your ePortfolio.

2. OneNote ePortfolio Link: Submit the link through the submission tab as well. The ePortfolio contains all deliverables from Phases I and II of the CPE Record. Only submit the CPE Record and ePortfolio after all components in both are fully completed.

How do I create a shareable OneNote ePortfolio link?

To generate a shareable OneNote ePortfolio link, follow these steps:

• Click Share at the top right of your OneNote ePortfolio.

• Select People you specify can view in the pop-up.

• Choose People in Western Governors University with the link, then click Apply.

• Return to the previous pop-up and click Copy link.

• Paste this link in the submission area.

How do I submit the 2nd task (AIM2)?

For AIM2, submit the required items exclusively through the submission tab. Do not upload the AIM2 task in your ePortfolio.

How do I submit my performance assessment (AIM2), and what file formats are accepted?

Within the assessments tab, click Begin Task Attempt and use the paperclip icon to attach files. Accepted formats include PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPT, or PPTX. Live links (e.g., SharePoint, iCloud) are not accepted because originality cannot be verified, and evaluators cannot access previous versions. Do not submit the AIM2 task through OneNote or the ePortfolio.

How does Unicheck function?

How do I create an ePortfolio in OneNote?

What content should I upload to my OneNote ePortfolio?

Upload all Clinical Practice Experience (CPE) deliverables, including task requirements for both Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the CPE Record.

Clinical Practice Experience (CPE)

What is the Clinical Practice Experience (CPE)?

The CPE is the clinical portion of your course designed to prepare you for the AIM2 Performance Assessment. Completing the activities and assignments in the CPE Record earns you 25 hours of indirect clinical hours. All deliverables are uploaded to your ePortfolio.

Where can I access the CPE Record?

• Go to the Assessments section in the Course material.

• Click View Task and scroll down to the Supporting Documents section.

• The CPE Record contains many live links, so it’s recommended to save it electronically rather than printing.

What should my CPE schedule table look like?

The CPE schedule helps organize your work. The table typically includes three columns:

What does the Social Emotional Intelligence (SEI) Table look like?

How will I know when I am ready to submit my CPE?

You should submit when both Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the CPE are completed and uploaded to your ePortfolio. The CPE Record must be signed and dated. Submit both the ePortfolio link and the CPE Record separately via the submissions tab.

GoReact Videos

Where can I find information about GoReact?

Details on GoReact are found on page 9 of the Course of Study and within the CPE Record. An instruction document is also available in the Supporting Documents section of your FDM1 Performance Assessment.

What should be included in the GoReact video reflection summary?

The CPE Record specifies the requirements for each GoReact reflection summary.

Where do I find the GoReact video link?

Access GoReact through the link embedded in the CPE Record using your WGU single sign-on. If asked for your instructor’s name, you are likely using the wrong link.

Am I required to review other students’ GoReact videos?

Yes, you must watch and provide written feedback on two peer GoReact videos.

What should I do if I have issues with GoReact?

Consult the instructions on page 9 of the course material. For technical problems, contact GoReact support via their ticket system. Ensure you use the GoReact link embedded in the CPE Record.

Performance Assessment

What do I need to submit for my Performance Assessment?

Submit three deliverables simultaneously: the Mind Map, Force Field Analysis, and Reflective Essay.

Where do I submit my Performance Assessment?

Submit all components through the submissions tab in the Course material. Do not upload the Performance Assessment to your ePortfolio.

What file formats are acceptable for Performance Assessment submissions?

How should I address Section C1 in the paper?

Use a first-level APA heading for the main section. For each bullet point, create second-level APA headings. Begin by defining the concept, then provide examples with citations. Refer to the Student paper setup guide in Course Tips for detailed APA heading guidance.

How should I approach Section C2 in the paper?

Similar to Section C1, start with a first-level APA heading. Use second-level headings for bullet points. Discuss how two social/emotional power skills achieve each outcome, supported by examples and citations.

Mind Map

Where can I find a Mind Map example?

An example is available in Unit 5 on page 43 of the Course Material.

What programs can I use to create a Mind Map?

The Course reading material recommends Ayoa and MindMup programs (Unit 5, pages 43-44). Tutorials are available on the MindMup website.

What should be the main idea for my Mind Map?

Refer to Appendix B of the IHI White Paper, Framework for Improving Joy in Work (p. 27). Use a specific change idea from the “Change Ideas to Test” column as your central topic. Avoid broad themes like “Joy in the Workplace” or “Impediments to Joy.”

Force Field Analysis

Must I use the same topic for Force Field Analysis as the Mind Map?

No, you can select a different topic, provided you meet task instructions and rubric requirements.

APA Format

Are references required for the reflection paper?

Yes, include at least three APA-formatted in-text citations and references.
