As an aspiring Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), my primary goal is to provide holistic care that acknowledges each patient’s uniqueness. To achieve this, I will engage in active listening to fully understand my patients’ concerns and refer them to other specialists when necessary.

Holistic nursing, cultural humility, and self-reflection are integral to my future role as an APRN. Holistic nursing involves considering the patient’s physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being when developing a care plan.
