Advocacy is especially significant in acute care units, where communication and management structures determine the unit’s efficiency. Resilience is integral to interprofessional collaboration, enabling healthcare teams to maintain workflow efficiency in acute care settings. This involves coordination, goal setting, interpersonal communication, and rapid decision-making to address urgent patient needs. Flexibility complements resilience, helping healthcare providers respond effectively to challenges in both the ICU and acute care environments.
Evidence-based practice is essential for enhancing the quality of care by integrating new research findings into daily operations.
